What is humanitas?

Humanitas derives from the Latin, and its concepts referred to: philanthrôpía (loving what makes us human) and paideia (education).

As an educational resource, we are dedicated to increasing our collective awareness and engagement in our spiritual awareness and our engagement in spiritual practices.

We offer a wide variety of courseware which has this as a focus on what we believe is a critical dimension of our health … our spiritual health.

Topics that we will touch on are wide-ranging … from mindful awareness, to religious dogma and dialogue, to interspiritual acceptance and understanding, to guided meditation, sound meditation, and much more.

We look forward to your joining us! Our love for what we believe can be our collective humanity is what drives us.

An adventure of the Spirit which will transform you, and which will change the ways in which you perceive yourself, your personal possibilities and your relationships with others forever … with an ever expanded sense of respect and reverence for a world in need of larger love, compassion and human rights.

An immersive course that seeks to investigate the richness of our shared humanity … examining the dogma (religious precepts) and the dialogue (spiritual practices with God) of many of the world’s greatest wisdom paths. A deep dive into the differences, and for many, the perhaps unexpected commonalities amongst them all.

Devotionals is a collection of spirit-based devotional prayers, designed as a calming and reflective guided practice. They cover a variety of daily and occasional themes, and are approximately 15 minutes in length. Each begins with spoken word, followed by ambient music as a means of centering,  and taking it all into discernment.

How do we begin to craft a better world? How do we begin to first acknowledge that this is the promise of humanity, and how do we then interconnect compassionately to realize that promise, globally? It perhaps our greatest collective challenge, and there are diverse, real world barriers to entry. Examining those is the work of this text.
